The Athens Chabad House building has a kosher meat restaurant, where you can order a variety of meat dishes, fish, falafel, and more. Across from the Chabad House there is an excellent dairy restaurant, where you can order pizzas, pastas, sandwiches, cakes, coffee, and more.
Entry to the Chabad House is secured during weekday activity hours; it’s recommended to bring a passport and ID during the week. On Shabbat, advance registration for a meal or prayer allows entry, and on Shabbat no ID needs to be shown.
For Shabbat meal registration, it’s recommended to sign up early, as there is sometimes high demand for Shabbat meals at the Chabad House, and meals are served in 2 locations inside the Chabad House, at the main location and sometimes in the upper rooms due to lack of space. The third meal (Seudah Shlishit) is held free of charge.
Inside the Athens Chabad House there is a grocery store, where you can get dairy and meat products, wines, cakes, crackers, and more.
There is a mikveh near the Chabad House.
For Shabbat observers there is a very close hotel, 2 minutes’ walk away; the hotel is adapted for Shabbat observers; you can get a room and safe key, the staff already knows the rules of Shabbat and provides help and support
In addition, there is a selection of hotels near the Athens Chabad House; it’s always recommended to choose a hotel with a high score and rating
