Sunday, arrival and transfers

Here the tour begins, with plenty of positive energy and action from the very first second.
Landing in Tbilisi and organized transfers to the hotel.
A team from the kosher hotel waits for you at the airport, helps with an initial currency exchange, and takes you comfortably to the hotel.
Then at the hotel a warm welcome awaits you, including light refreshments, handing out keys and settling in calmly in the rooms.

Monday

Monday, a comprehensive tour of Tbilisi

A day of touring in the capital Tbilisi, a magnificent city that combines past, present and future.
We will set out on a tour of the city of Tbilisi, and then we will also walk through the old city.
We will wander among picturesque alleyways and historic houses.
In addition, we will visit the Great Synagogue.
Then we will go boating on the Kura river.
After that we will take the cable car up to the viewpoint by the statue of Mother Georgia.
Finally we will walk through the bathhouse district, cross the bridge of locks, and also discover the hidden waterfall.
This is a tour full of colours, scents and atmosphere, accompanied by a Hebrew-speaking guide.

Tuesday

Tuesday, the Military Highway and the Caucasus mountains

This morning we will set out for an exciting day of touring in nature, along the Military Highway that leads towards the high Caucasus mountains.

During the day we will visit the following sites:

• Lake Zhinvali, a picturesque viewpoint
• Ananuri fortress, a 16th-century stronghold
• The meeting of the Aragvi rivers, an astonishing natural phenomenon
• The Friendship Monument, a symbol of the historic bond between Georgia and Russia
• Mineral springs, clear water against colourful rocks
• To finish, we will enjoy a wild quad-bike attraction among mountains and breathtaking scenery

At the end we will return to the hotel in Tbilisi for dinner and the maariv prayer.

Wednesday

Wednesday, Mtskheta, viewpoints and markets

A fascinating day of touring among tradition, scenery and authentic markets.
We will travel to the city of Mtskheta, the historic capital of Georgia, and then go up to the Jvari site for a magnificent panoramic view over the meeting of the Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers.
After that we will walk through the colourful pedlars’ market in the centre of old Mtskheta, then continue to a visit to Turtle Lake, a lovely leisure area with soothing views, and finally round things off with a visit to the “Dry Bridge” flea market for an authentic shopping experience.

Thursday

Thursday, shopping and the return home

We will open the day with a guided shopping tour.
We will visit the leading shopping centres of Tbilisi, and get to know recommended markets, brand shops and souvenir stalls.
Our guide will accompany you all the way and make sure you find the best-value opportunities.
Later in the day we will return to the hotel, rest a little and get ready to leave.
Finally we will finish with a festive dinner, and after it we will set out on an organized transfer to the airport for the flight home.
